Overview

When SportsMEDIA Technology launched its first fully remote operations department, I was tasked with creating a brand that could be used to promote the new team. ROOSTER stands for Remote Optics Operator Staffing & Technology for Eliminating Risk.

My Process

As I began my initial sketches for this project, I couldn't get the idea of a rooster out of my head. Even though the name was just an incredibly long acronym and had no relation to the animal, it seemed to make sense. Since SportsMEDIA Technology is a sports data visualization company, I landed on a direction that was inspired by mascot designs for eSports. I gathered references and created a PureRef file. From there, I began designing my first round of logos.
